GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Ensures the placement of patients into beds in accordance with physician service, patient accommodation needs and patient preferences.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilizes the EPIC registration demographic to capture metrics necessary for all aspects necessary of bed control. Collaborates as a team-based member to deliver best patient care with physician practices and extended care facilities and the patient transfer notification process. (40%)Utilizes effective communication with all personnel to ensure highest quality in bed control. (40%)Ensures proper procedures regarding all aspects of bed control are followed.
