Robert Half Ltd are working with an organisation based in Abingdon that are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join them on a temporary basis. Reporting to a senior payroll lead, you will support payroll delivery, reconciliation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process payroll data accurately and on time
  • Validate calculations and support final payroll checks
  • Complete monthly variance reconciliations and reporting
  • Act as a key contact for HR and employee payroll queries
  • Build strong relationships with HR to support a collaborative approach
  • Maintain compliance with payroll policies and controls
  • Assist with improving and documenting payroll processes
