Payroll Specialist (Malaysia & EU/EM Payroll)

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with strong expertise in Malaysia payroll operations and statutory compliance, along with exposure to EU & Emerging Markets payroll processing.
The role involves managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring statutory compliance, supporting global payroll operations, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Malaysia Payroll (Primary Responsibility)
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysia including monthly payroll cycles, off-cycle payments, and final settlements
Ensure compliance with Malaysia statutory requirements (income tax, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, etc.)
Validate payroll inputs: attendance, leave, bonuses, deductions, tax adjustments
Coordinate with Finance and HR teams for payroll inputs, bank files, and payments
Reconcile payroll registers, bank files, and statutory submissions
