Opportunity Description
+ Responsible for day-to-day payroll system support, including troubleshooting interface issues from external vendor.
+ Analyze data files for completeness and reasonableness before processing. Audit information against payroll register, collaborate with HR & IT resources to resolve system rejections for missing/incomplete data.
+ Respond timely to employee inquires received into Oracle ticket system.
+ Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholding and company deductions.
+ Ensure payroll is produced in accordance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
+ Analyze various payment files, calculate, review, verify and post a variety of complex payroll data fields such as gross pay, retirement, repayments, retroactive payments, hours, and tax information.
