Pediatrics Physician

We are seeking a Pediatrician for weekend call coverage in Alabama to support a local pediatric practice. This role is focused strictly on newborn services and birth coverage at a facility with a Level I Nursery.

• Schedule: Starts at 12p and ends at 9p .
• Focus: Births only. No ER or OR call-back required.
• Volume: The facility averages 2 newborns per day ( births per year).
• Scope of Care: Management of Level I Nursery.
• Stabilization of infants requiring higher levels of care prior to transfer.
• Admissions are required but occur very infrequently.
• Note: No NICU, vent management, or ECMO required.

• Licensure: Active Alabama (AL) license or IMLC highly preferred.
• Certifications: Must be active in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP .
