About the Opportunity
Working within the community with individuals, families and groups, the physiotherapist assesses diagnoses and treats patients in the community. The physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers with regard to health promotion and physiotherapy treatment. The physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students, and supervision of physiotherapy assistant(s)/rehab assistant(s).
About You
- University graduate with a degree in physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized School of Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
- One year post graduation employed as a physiotherapist required
- Experience working in the community is preferred
