Wood's office in Calgary, AB is currently recruiting for a Graduate or Pipeline Engineer in Training (EIT). This role is for candidates that have started or are looking to start their professional career in Alberta working on buried or above ground pipelines.
Previous experience, such as coop terms in a related field will be an asset. Under the supervision of an experienced engineer, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to: + Provide input to produce pipeline documents and drawings + Complete pipeline design calculations (wall thickness, buoyancy, bending, etc.
) + Preparation of design reports + Provide input into pipeline engineering specifications, standards, and procedures + Complete Material Take Offs and associated Material Requisitions + Coordinate procurement bids and complete technical bid evaluations + Identify optimization and operating cost reduction opportunities + Ensure construction and field modifications meet the requirem...
