Piping Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Piping Designer to support design efforts using tools such as CADWorx and Plant 3D, with a focus on 3D modeling and layout development for complex systems. This individual will be responsible for interpreting P&IDs to ensure accurate design intent, maintaining proper equipment spacing, and coordinating across multiple disciplines to ensure alignment. The role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, coordinated designs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5-15 years oil & gas experience

• CAD Worx + Plant 3D proficiency

• Multidisciplinary capability

• Strong understanding of layout/spacing

• P&ID reading

• Basic 3D modeling

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Civil 3D

• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

• Tailings experience
