Planning Engineer
Location: Christchurch, Bournemouth
Salary: £39,000 - £41,000 per year
Hours: 8 - 4.30pm Mon - Thurs and 8 - 2.30pm Friday
We are recruiting a Planning Engineer to support structured, repeatable manufacturing processes. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust planning, ensuring effective works order sequencing and strong work centre performance.
Key responsibilities
General and task management
Create and maintain manufacturing information including route cards, bills of materials, planning structures and specifications in line with company standards
Use Evolution MRP to build and manage routings and BoMs
Define material requirements, manufacturing methods, tooling and equipment
Develop test specifications and support manufacture and rework of composite test samples
Establish production processes to a stable, repeatable standard that meets design and specification requirements
