Opportunity Description

The Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) at Argonne National Laboratory seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with deep expertise in electrochemistry. The successful candidate will lead efforts in nanomaterials synthesis and in situ/operando characterization of liquid–solid interfaces during electrochemical conversions.

This position offers the opportunity to leverage CNM’s advanced user facilities and instrumentation, publish in high-impact venues, and collaborate closely with scientists across CNM, Argonne, and external partners.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Design, synthesize, and rigorously evaluate well-defined nanomaterials for catalytic and electrochemical applications
+ Develop, implement, and optimize in situ electrochemical cells to probe liquid–solid interfaces under reaction conditions
