Power system consultant for Siemens PTI business in the Middle East, based in Karachi. Responsible for executing local market projects while supporting PTI business growth through interaction with regions in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power system studies involving load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, protection coordination, arc flash and harmonic analysis using PSS SINCAL, Etap or equivalent software.
• Perform power quality measurements and studies for industries and power utilities.
• Conduct protection coordination and unit protection studies such as motor protection, CT/VT sizing.
• Write and produce high quality reports documenting study findings, results and recommendations.
• Maintain basic knowledge of solar and battery energy storage systems.
