Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development of innovative electromechanical and power generation technologies for next‑generation aerospace applications.

This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys design authority, work‑package leadership and hands‑on problem solving , while also mentoring others and influencing project direction.

The Role

You will lead and deliver robust mechanical design solutions across R&D, R&T and product development programmes. Working within a multi‑disciplinary engineering environment, you will take ownership of complex work packages, ensuring designs meet performance, manufacturing, cost and weight targets while complying with rigorous aerospace standards.
