Principal Planner (Contract)
Peri-Urban Council 1 hour North-West of Melbourne CBD is seeking an experienced Principal Planner to provide short-term support within the statutory planning team. This is an initial 2-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

Role Details

• Manage a caseload of 20–25 planning applications from lodgment to decision
• Prepare Delegate Reports and Council Reports
• Chair consultation meetings where required
• Provide clear and timely communication with applicants and stakeholders
• Applications include subdivisions, multi-unit developments, land use proposals, vegetation removal and overlay matters
