Principal Test Systems Engineer

Leonardo has an exciting vacancy for a Principal Test Systems Engineer, based at our dedicated Test Facility in Southampton.

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to act as point of contact for Project Teams and coordinate the work for a multi-disciplined team of Test Engineers.

Your Impact

As Principal Test Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the specification, design, procurement, manufacture, verification and evaluation of test equipment and procedures. Supporting projects with documentation and delivery to agreed budget and timescales.

Typical test equipment will include optical, thermal and electronic components as well as test software. Although not expected to be an expert in all these areas the role will require hands on activity, therefore a wide knowledge and proven experience is desired to bring all these aspects together to provide a reliable test system.
