Opportunity Description
Manage the system, resources, personnel, and equipment of the Molding Processes department. Ensure compliance with safety standards to prevent machine downtime due to plastic injection molding processes, thereby meeting departmental objectives and increasing efficiency. Validate new molds and new projects. Validate robots. Coordinate and supervise Process Engineers. Ensure cycle times are within standard. Ensure parts meet quality requirements. Coordinate the transfer of robot tooling (end-arm tools). Meet the Processes department's uptime target in the molding area. Maintain the Processes area's scrap level within target. Develop work strategies to maintain and improve the Processes area's key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage the generation and implementation of improvement ideas in the Processes departments.
