Local Procurement Co Ordinator

Responsible for the management of local procurement of materials, services, and supplies. To always increase Local spend. Ensures compliance to all local procurement targets, and ensures statistical data and reporting are accurate. Responsible for compiling reports for DMRE and all other stakeholders, internal and external.

This position will be the face of procurement in the communities, with significant interaction with our current Major Contractors on site regarding appointing Local Community subcontractors and spending locally on day-to-day procurement. Contracts experience and working with contractors are essential to protect small contractors against major contractors.

This person will be responsible for reporting and driving initiatives to ensure Local target spend compliance.
