Great Eastern Shipping is hiring for the role for Procurement Executive (Buyer) who will be a part of the Material Procurement Team.

About the Role

We are looking for candidates with 5-8 years relevant work experience in the Procurement Department of a Shipping Company for the Procurement Executive (Buyer) role.

Responsibilities

• To manage end to end support of Procurement for allocated ships which involves:
• Enquire and seek quotations from registered vendors.
• Compare quotations once received and make proposals for approval.
• Issue Purchase orders.
• Follow-up Purchase orders till delivery.
• Invoice booking into the system and passing to accounts.
• Support any queries in the above process from Enquire to payment.
• Comply to Company defined Procurement Policies and Procedure.
