Production Planner

A major Malaysian chemicals and plastics manufacturer. The company exports globally, operates advanced manufacturing facilities, and has strengthened operations through restructuring and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create daily to monthly production schedules based on forecasts, orders, and inventory levels.
• Distribute orders across production lines, considering equipment capability and efficiency.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress and adjust schedules to manage delays or production issues.
• Prioritize production tasks to maximize output and minimize downtime or overstock.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
• Support inventory management by working with Marketing to clear excess or idle stock.
• Plan production around machine capacity, maintenance, workforce, and output rates.
