Production Support Technician

Role Overview:

As a Production Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient daily running of the Sony UK Tech test and assembly operations, including Bath Soldering. This will involve working on preventative maintenance (TPM), breakdowns, and efficiency improvements, all while ensuring a safe and controlled working environment.

You will need strong mechanical technical ability, including the ability to read and interpret Mechanical Engineering Drawings, use precision measuring and testing equipment, and apply fault-finding and problem-solving skills. You will also have the opportunity to implement and control process changes to drive continuous improvement.

The role works closely with Operational Managers, Supervisors, and the wider Production Engineering team, sharing best practices and providing technical leadership and support where needed. Training and development opportunities will be available to support gro...
