PGS Worldwide is seeking a Technician in Goleta, CA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports the build and packaging of advanced infrared (IR) detector systems used in space, military, and commercial applications, working in a highly controlled lab environment.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED


• 4+ years of relevant experience


• Ability to follow detailed engineering instructions with high accuracy


• Strong attention to detail and steady hand coordination


• Experience working with small parts using hand tools (tweezers, screwdrivers, etc.)


• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods


• Basic to moderate computer skills


• Ability to work in a controlled lab or cleanroom-like environment
