The Baycrest Academy for Research and Education (BARE) brings together world‐leading research, education and academic partnerships to transform how the world understands and experiences aging. Through the Rotman Research Institute and a network of specialized centres, BARE advances discovery in cognitive neuroscience, dementia prevention, precision aging, brain health, mental health and healthy longevity.

Baycrest is a host organization for the Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long‑Term Care (Ontario CLRI), which is funded by the Ministry of Long‑Term Care. The purpose of the Ontario CLRI is to strengthen the quality of life and care for residents across the province by providing education and sharing research and innovations to enhance the health and well‑being of people who live and work in long‑term care.
