Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements, setting priorities
• Identifies labor, material and time requirements by studying proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents
• Computes cost factors and prepares estimates for submission to customers and for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining the cost-effectiveness of jobs produced versus job estimates.
