Asics on japanilainen urheiluvaatteiden ja -kenkien valmistaja. Yhtiö on perustettu 1940 ja nimi on lyhenne sanoista Anima Sana In Corpore Sano, joka taas on muunnos sanoista mens sana in corpore sano – ”terve mieli terveessä kehossa”.
