Overview
The Protection Officer I works under the direction of the Protection Supervisor & Manager. The Officer performs functions to protect facilities and personnel from property loss and criminal activity. Provides services and assistance, as outlined by policies and procedures and directed by Management, to make the facility safe for employees, patients and visitors and to meet the expectations of Riverside Health.
What you will do
Monitor fire, intrusion, duress, and security alarm systems and respond as appropriate. Maintains a working knowledge of the infant security alarms (TOTs), Genetic access and video systems, WorxHub, and Omnigo. Function in emergency circumstances as directed. Operate communications equipment in keeping with assigned duties.
