Protege - Architect

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

The Protégé - Architect will be attached to Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) and will support architectural and technical functions in government project implementation, including design coordination, documentation and site monitoring. This role provides practical exposure to public sector project processes, making it ideal for graduates passionate about architecture and project delivery.

PRIMARY TASKS

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Support tendering processes, including evaluating bids and preparing documentation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure accurate project cost control.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documentation and variation orders.
• Research construction materials, labour costs, and market trends.
