Job Description

Reports to: Director of Special Education and Student Services

Salary Schedule: SLP Scale (15 hours/week)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to develop IEP goals and objectives and align with SOL’s.
• Ability to use augmentative communication and assistive technology devices.
• Ability to develop effective relationships with students, parents and school personnel.
• Possess knowledge of the Virginia regulations governing special education programs for students with disabilities.
• Possess knowledge and use of articulation, phonological principles, fluency, receptive, expressive and programmatic language.

• Administers appropriate speech/hearing screenings and evaluations.
