Opportunity Overview

CanAtom, a joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon, is delivering the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project (RFBR) under a collaborative contract with Ontario Power Generation. The project involves the retube, feeder, and boiler replacement of Units 5–8. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for all quality functions and duties related to RFBR construction activities under the Aecon Quality Program, reporting to a Quality Control Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of required inspections as outlined in the Construction and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Perform quality inspections in accordance with the related codes and customer specifications, including dimension and visual weld inspections.
• Review history documents such as Certified Material Test Reports when required.
• Perform weld monitoring as required.
