Opportunity Description
Salary: ±R35,000 per month negotiable for the right candidate
* Responsible for the supervision of the Debtors & Creditors function
* Management of the Deal Discounting Position
* Daily cashbooks for all companies
* General Administration & bookkeeping
* Cashflow Management
* Monthly processing of standard journal entries
* Analyse and reconcile general ledger accounts
* Maintain/update the Fixed Asset Register to track deprecation entries
* Maintain/update the Vehicle Amortization schedules
* Oversee/process the Petty cash entries in the GL
* Prepare and distribute Monthly Management Accounts/Packs
* Maintain/update the insurance policy
* Assist with Statutory returns, eg preparation of VAT
* Resolution of queries
Educational Requirements: Qualified Accountant
Knowledge:
* Good knowledge of accounting processes and principles
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a fair knowledge of Microsoft Word
