Qualified Train Driver- Cambridge

Position Overview

We are seeking a fully qualified train driver for CrossCountry Trains. The role involves operating services across our extensive network covering around 1,400 miles from Aberdeen to Penzance.

Responsibilities

• Operate trains safely and reliably on scheduled services.
• Act as technical and operations specialist within the team, ensuring highest standards of on‑train service.
• Drive during unsocial hours and support shift work requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 3 years of productive train driving experience.
• Holding a European Train Driving License.
• Excellent safety record and solid driving experience.
• Must live within a 1 hour commute of Cambridge.
• Drivers cannot apply until they have occupied their present post for 3 years following completion of training, examination and route learning.
