Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA) ensures high quality in different environments throughout the development lifecycle. Understands the four main QA Activities: planning, execution, monitoring, and implementation. The QAA can use at least one test design tool, such as TestRail, Jira (ATM), Bugzilla, Quality Center, etc. The QAA should be comfortable working with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .Net, PHP, and Java, know about mobile technologies (e.g., iOS/Android), and be fluent in case management tools like SpiraTest or Testlink.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QA tasks (defect tracking, testing, test case design, etc.).
• Perform functional testing to ensure products perform according to the specs provided and within established guidelines.
• Analyze requirements and keep track of the new requirements for the project.
