In this role, you will be responsible for programming and editing CMM programs, supporting the measurements of the inspection process, and contributing to the quality management system (QMS). You will complete measurements and inspections of products during their process and at final stages, ensuring consistent quality by validating processes and providing necessary documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Support the receiving inspection and new product development (NPD) process.
+ Measure parts from new suppliers and resolve any related issues by collaborating with engineers, purchasing departments, or suppliers.
+ Use a variety of measuring tools such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
+ Understand and interpret part drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
+ Manage projects independently, ensuring timely completion.
