SUMMARY:
Well-established construction company specialising in high-end residential, commercial, and industrial developments across Gauteng is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a 5 or more years contractor-side experience to join their team. Based at the group head office in Sandton, this role will work closely with the finance department to analyse construction-related costs, invoices, and project data, providing valuable commercial insight and support across multiple projects. Key responsibilities will include:
- Cost estimation and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation
- Ensuring contractual compliance in line with JBCC agreements
- Cash flow management and commercial reporting
- Risk identification, claims management, and cost control This position offers the opportunity to take full commercial responsibility for projects, providing end-to-end quantity surveying and commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
