Job Details
Explains procedures to patient to ensure understanding. Provides appropriate educational materials.Transports patients to and from clinical areas and assists technologists with preparing patient for exam.Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents.Ensures equipment is properly functioning. Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. May perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations when CT Technologist is not on site.Requirements
BLS obtained within 90 of hireARRT-R - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) within six months of hire date or other Radiology licensure required by state or work Benefits
