Raw Materials Specialist

As a Raw Material Specialist, you will report into the Supplier Assurance Manager at both Rudie’s Kitchen and Ace’s Pantry, the two units at our site near Doncaster. Your role helps to ensure that the company quality system is operated in a controlled and effective manner, ensuring product quality is maintained from raw materials through to finished goods. In this role you will have the freedom of making your own decisions. You will have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Goods intake inspection and assessment of protein, vegetable and ambient stable ingredients, including Treat products, ensuring compliance in all aspects of quality and food safety
• Co-ordination and review of raw material specifications
• Collect and book samples for microbiological and nutritional analysis
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly scheduled tasks (e.g., internal audits, GMP audits, KPI reporting, trace exercises)...
