Client Consultation: Meet with buyers and sellers to understand their needs and preferences in property transactions.
Property Listing & Marketing: For sellers, an agent lists properties, prepares marketing materials (photos, descriptions, etc.), and coordinates showings. For buyers, they identify potential properties that match the client’s criteria.
Negotiation: Act as an intermediary between buyers and sellers, helping negotiate terms and prices to reach mutually agreeable contracts.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum requirement in most regions.
- Real Estate Courses: Completion of pre-licensing courses is required, which may include topics like real estate law, ethics, property management, contracts, and finance. These courses are offered by accredited real estate schools or community colleges.
