Receiver, Distribution Center

The Receiver is responsible for performing all functions of inbound receiving by using computerized warehouse management system (EXE) to receive refrigerated and dry grocery product. Matching bills of lading to purchase orders and editing quantities is the primary function. The Receiver will inspect arriving product to make sure it meets Whole Foods Market quality standards and record specific arrival information such as temperature. Restacking product as necessary so pallets will fit properly in warehouse rack as well as operation of powered industrial trucksJob

Responsibilities

Use computerized warehouse management system via radio frequency scanner and handheld device

Operate dock plates, dock locks, and warehouse loading bay doors

Operating an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) or forklift

Assist in cleaning the warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment.
