Recreation Aide (Golf Sales)

Summary This position is located in the Windy Harbor Golf Course, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Station Mayport, Florida. Responsibilities Maintains records of members monthly payments and expiration dates. Prepares daily reports and turns in with receipts in accordance with established procedures. Records members golf scores for input to computer. Assigns golf carts, tee times and rental equipment and records starting times for play on weekends and holidays.Maintains shop in neat, clean and attractive manner to promote sales. Assist customers on selections of merchandise. Prepares special orders and layaway purchases. Recommends removal of slow moving goods or order of frequently requested items. Advises Manager when items require re-order. Answers patrons questions concerning hours of operation, prices, lessons, upcoming events, complaints and refers them to the manager.
