Opportunity Description
Duties
- Provide specialized care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with a patient ratio of 1:2.
- Manage patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including post-cardiac surgery and those requiring ECMO and ventricular assist devices.
- Float within the ICU community, including CVICU, Med/Surg ICU, and Neuro ICU, to meet facility needs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary support with teams such as IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services.
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring, including PA catheter interpretation and analysis.
- Administer and manage IV therapies, including blood product administration and central line care.
- Implement infection prevention and isolation precautions.
- Provide patient care during weekends on a rotational basis, with shifts every other weekend.
