Opportunity Description
Join Melville Hospice in Surrey, B.C. as a Casual Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse and provide critical support to patients. Engage in holistic care aligning with established policies and patient needs.
As a key member of the Melville Hospice team, you will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care for residents, focusing on their emotional and physical well-being. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, you'll advocate for patient rights while documenting care plans and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and implement individualized nursing care
• Gather and record patient assessments efficiently
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on care plans
• Uphold patient dignity and autonomy in care
• Contribute to nursing education and quality assurance efforts
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited School of Nursing
• Two years of nursing experience in acute care
• One year of relevant hospice/palliative care experience
