Opportunity Description
Registered Nurse (locum for a few months - CPT Foreshore)
Our client requires a locum Registered Nurse to be based at a hotel clinic in Cape Town joining as soon as possible to locum for a period of a few months or ongoing as required.
Requirements
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, medical situations and vital signs as needed
- Accurate clinical evaluation of patient complaints, including initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments
- Maintain accurate reporting and record keeping
- Deliver appropriate information to healthcare users in a manner that is sensitive to their conditions and level of understanding
- Explain the potential side effects of medication and provide patients with information and advice on prescribed medication
- Obtaining a patient history and performing physical examinations
