16 James Hematology Oncology - Nights - AYA OFFER (MED SURG UNIT)
HEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED. MEDSURG EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
ONS CERTIFICATION PREFFERED ($)
Staffing ratios - goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
" Weekends - variable based on unit needs
" No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff
" Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
" First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor
" Oncology experience preferred but not required
" Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units
Patient Diagnoses
" Lymphoma
" Multiple Myeloma
" Acute leukemias
" Chronic Leukemias
" Sickle Cell Disease
" other non hem cancers
" Other benign hematology
