Release Engineer

Job Description
The Release Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across multiple Agile and Waterfall teams, serving as the central point of contact for all release‑related activities. This role facilitates bi‑weekly intent meetings and monthly release meetings, owning agenda creation, stakeholder coordination, detailed note‑taking, and follow‑up management. The Release Engineer enforces release governance by ensuring UAT completion, documented signoffs, and overall release readiness. The RTE will ensure that CI/CD pipelines are secure, monitors and troubleshoots build and deployment issues, and validates environments across development, testing, staging, and production. Additionally, the Release Engineer manages dependencies, identifies risks and integration issues early, finalizes release lists and produces clear release notes and status communications.
