Relief Counselor Role in Developmental Services

Provide compassionate support as a Relief Residential Counselor within Lawson Ministries. Evening and weekend shifts ensure a dynamic role focused on individualized care and growth.
As a Relief Residential Counselor, your primary responsibility will be assisting adults with developmental disabilities through structured, goal-oriented programs. You will promote independence and deliver essential emotional and physical support daily. Collaborating with a team, you'll be integral in planning and executing care plans tailored to each Service User.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized support programs
• Maintain a clean environment and assist with meal prep
• Thoroughly document all relevant information using AIMS
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with Service Users
