Research Associate (Civil Engineering)

NTU, CEE is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. We are looking for a Research Associate to support the development of hybrid vision-vibration digital twin for steel structures. The role will focus on simulation, lab testing, and developing smart connectors for modular floating breakwaters.

• Develop modelling techniques for hybrid digital twins.
• Fabricate steel building models with corrosion.
• Develop AI and model updating techniques to calibrate the model.
• Publish several papers in top journals.
• Write proposals for further development.
• Mentor students.

• MSc degree in civil engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in structural analysis and machine learning.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
