Description of the research activity:
The researcher assesses and evaluates the vegetation and maps selected ecosystems, for example scree slopes, rocks and shrubs, combining data collection on the ground with remote sensing and modelling. The data will be analysed based on empirical and spatial statistics using the software R and QGIS. The researcher writes manuscripts to publish the project results in peer-reviewed journals and disseminates the results at international and local conferences.
