Research Technologist - Water & Wastewater

About the Position:

This is a full-time support staff Bargaining Unit position working 35 hours per week at an hourly rate of $37.34

Reporting to the Manager (BPRC) and working closely with Research Leads and Research Centre Coordinators, the candidate is responsible for carrying out activities for various research projects focused on analytical testing and experimentation in collaboration with research lead, research students, industry partners and Research and Innovation Office staff.

The incumbent's technical responsibilities include design, installation, implementation, commissioning, maintenance, calibration, operation, and troubleshooting of analytical equipment, and measurement devices for the assigned research projects in area of water and wastewater.

This role will be based out of Lambton College Main Campus in Sarnia, Ontario with required travel to offsite locations to conduct research projects.
