Retail Assistant

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers as they enter the store, provide assistance with product selection, and address customer inquiries and concerns.


• Sales Support: Assist in achieving store sales goals by actively engaging customers, suggesting products, and upselling when appropriate.


• Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash, and manage returns and exchanges.


• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory management and stocktaking.


• Store Presentation: Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing. This includes arranging products, maintaining display areas, and ensuring promotional materials are up to date.
