Opportunity Description

What you will do

  • Develop, specify, and apply riser system design criteria for a wide variety of activities, developments, and operations, , large-scale deepwater capital projects, R&D programs, and offshore installation activities opportunities.

  • Get involved in various riser, flexibles or umbilicals engineering activities for deepwater projects from concept evaluation and selection to installation to commissioning and start up

  • Execute and/or oversee riser analysis studies (conducted by ExxonMobil internal resources and / or third-party companies) to support riser system design (, strength, fatigue, interference)

  • Evaluate strengths and shortcomings of different riser design philosophies.

  • Lead revisions to company standards and/or industry practices.

  • Interface with engineers from other disciplines (, marine, pipelines, flow assurance, materials) to align on work scopes and work products.
