J61 and J63 are 24-bed cardiovascular telemetry units specializing in post-open heart, surgical, and ventricular assist device (VAD) patients. These fast-paced units provide a high-acuity environment where nurses develop advanced skills while caring for patients undergoing procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery, valve repair or replacement, and other complex cardiac interventions. The units also manage conditions including myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and device implantation or removal.
