Opportunity Description
RN Nursing North Carolina licensure required.
Demonstrates pharmacological knowledge particularly as it applies to opiates as well as illicit drugs.
One year of substance abuse experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Assists the Medical Director and MD staff with health screenings and physical exams that meet with his/her satisfaction.
B. Provide nursing screenings, interviews and evaluations in a professional and engaging manner, including the required information, organizing it for key personnel to suggest level of care for each client assigned, and clearly presenting the information to the psychiatrist and treatment team.
C. Provide on-call support to Mobile Crisis Team.
D. Complete the required written documentation within one hour of admission into detox/crisis program
E. Provide medical care in a professional, compassionate and effective manner, and in keeping with established standards.
